Manifesto
The name KENZAI is inspired by the Japanese word 健在, which means well, healthy, strong, present. This term expresses a simple and profound idea: that of a living, lasting balance, which is not imposed but cultivated over time.
For us, KENZAI embodies attention to people's well-being, respect for their skin, and a vision of care that strengthens rather than corrects.
This name reflects the spirit that guides each of our decisions: to care without excess, to preserve without constraint, and to support the skin towards the balance it naturally deserves.
The Founders
Siblings Stéphane and Barbara created KENZAI as a challenge. A challenge in a market saturated with promises, where cosmetics have gradually moved away from the essentials: respect for the skin, sincerity of formulas, and the intelligence of the people they are intended for.
Rather than following existing codes, they chose to rethink cosmetics from the ground up: fewer products, more accuracy, powerful ingredients without superfluity: a pure range that reflects their values and standards.
The Vision
KENZAI was born from this shared desire:
to create a brand that combines Swiss precision, botanical science, and the ethics of care, without compromising on quality or meaning.
